Over 40's exit at semi-final stage

Cor bloimey Old Wulfs got tatered in the land of jellied eels!
After 2 and a half hours in a cramped minibus the aching knees of our over 40's side reacted badly to the sea air and dazzle of peroxide.
A talented Havering side rampaged to a 3-0 lead within 15 minutes to effectively settle the tie in their favour. Dillworth then brilliantly saved a flick but couldn't prevent a fourth being added.
Jandu replied with a penalty corner strike and there was a glimmer of hope as the Black Country boys began to take a grip on the game, orchestrated by Khan in midfield.
And despite the second half being much more even the game ended 6-1 and Wulfs were dumped out of the cup.
When the minibus began to leave on its own due to handbrake failure Wulfs began to sense it just wasn't their day, but the day was saved by a generous Havering helping of pie, beans & beer.
