Great Start for Old Wulfs under 14s

Our U14 side had their first outing in this year's develpoment league competition. Very much a new look side, ,
Dan in goal, Sahib , Ben and James Wall, Jake Aldersley,Paul Johnson, Josh Wilson and guests Jack and Shiv from West brom.
In a pleasant surprise the sun shone down all afternoon, clearly inspiring our lads to make a bright start as they raced into a 3-0 lead against Streetley, the opposition nicked a goal back just before half time. The lads gave themselves an excellent team talk identifying strengths and areas to improve. They set off again eventually running out 6-1 winners.
Next up we're Sutton Coldfield, with a very large keeper they looked a much tougher task. Wulfs dominated the play but for ten minutes could not get anything past the Sutton keeper. Eventually Jack forced a goal in fair reward for his excellent play. Jake quickly put us 2 up and Jack added a third before half time.
Again the boys did a fantastic summary of the game and where to improve, in the second half the discussion led by Shiv.They delivered again and ran out 6-0 winners goal of the day from Jack slapping the ball into the top corner from a tight angle. All of the boys played very well individually and as a team. Jack was voted player of the day closely followed by Shiv.
