Kath Thomas

It is with great sadness that I write to tell those of you who have not already heard, that Kath Thomas, wife of Glyn, passed away this weekend.
Kath and Glyn have both been involved with this Club since they
first met back in 1962 (Glyn for even longer than this!) and many
of our older players will have known Kath almost as well as they
know Glyn.
Whether he is umpiring WGS or OWHC games, supporting the Badgers
team, playing wherever Richard asks him to (including for
opposition teams!) or bolstering a Vets side, Glyn is always
there for this Club when it needs him and as such is one of the
most popular and well respected members amongst his peers,
regardless of their age and abilities.
On this basis I am confident that I speak for everyone at OWHC in
passing on our heartfelt and sincere condolences to both Glyn and
his family, along with our best wishes during this difficult
time.
