Perfect Start for Old Wulfs U14's

Old Wulfs played host last Sunday to Stafford, Telford & Lichfield with each team having 2 games.

Old Wulfs game against Stafford were put to the sword first 8-1 at half time, they did however have no goalkeeper. So in the spirit of fair play we lent them Daniel and still won the second half 2 1 a man down and no goalkeeper. Telford were next having beaten Lichfield 4-0 a tough game was expected. Telford raced into a two nil lead, with excellent goals Fair play to our youngsters who rallied and led 3-2 at halftime. Must have had a good halftime team talk as old wulfs dominated and went 7-2 in front, Telford scored a consultation goal, final score 7-3. Well done all the lads, Ben Foster and Noah Plowman who guested for us played superbly.Callum scored plenty of goals, paul also scored a few and a particularly cool finish against Telford when the game was tight. Sahib and Jack put in lots of strong tackles and good passes.Dan was vocal as ever and made some nice saves against Telford. The games were played in good spirit, the team should feel extremely proud of the performance against Telford, thanks to the umpires, Lichfield beat Stafford 2 0 in the final game. Each Club plays host to 3 other teams and each team play 8 games in total.
