Awsome result against a team who has beaten us comfortably on the last three occasions we have met , 5 1 last time. This time we set up to nullify their strengths, and play to our strengths, which despite me being there was our pace up front . They had 60% possession and 70%territory advantage but we had most of the chances in a pulsating game. We went one nil up as jandu smacked one in from the top of the d. Two nil as jandu PASSED to adam who eventually scored after sitting down for a rest. They got one back which was wiped out by a cooper p. Flick. 3 1 to us at half time. They huffed and puffed to get back to 3 2 but we had missed a boat load of chances on the break. Jandu put wulfs 4 2 in front from a short corner. Solihull got a third but we all knew it was to little to late. Fabulous win and quite good tactics even if I say so myself. The defence put in a good performance to frustrate their attack, and Ryan timed his runs into the opposition half particularly well. |
