Following up on last week another promising performance, against high flying Streetly. The pace of Simon Evans & Ryan Harding causing the Streetly defence, plenty of problems. Wulfs went one up through a Jandu strike, Streetly equalised through a scrappy goal. Not for the first time this year all square at halftime. Streetly went ahead from a weak but dipping flick off a short corner. Wulfs responded well showing the fighting spirit to win a close game, which was lacking earlier in the season. Two more Jandu goals put wulfs in front,Adam then produced another great pass to Simon, who was rudely taken out by the Streetly keeper, but Ryan was following up to put the ball into open goal,to secure a 4 2 lead. Which Luke maintained with many excellent saves,Roger also had an inspired last five minutes, making some great last ditch tackles & clearing one off the line. So a great win,lets hope we can keep the progress going. |
