Miserable day, horrible traffic , fantastic performance. We started with only ten players, as for the second year in a row the Gwilts arrived late, Rhys was also late. News flash fellas the traffic was terrible for all of us but we arrived on time by leaving on time and allowing for the fact there might be heavy traffic on the motorway. However those who were there made a great start and went one up through a Ryan Harding goal. Almost inevitably as soon as we had eleven on the pitch Redditch equalised. We went back in front as Adam placed a perfect 30yard pass (on the floor) which Simon Evans sprinted onto and finished past their keeper. Sadly the usually reliable Luke then stepped over a dribbler from the Redditch centre forward., 2 2 at halftime. The game went back and forth in second half, wulfs denied a goal, as the umpires were not aware of the Sheldon principle, where you can award a goal after you have blown your whistle to give a short corner. Eventually we went in front with a great finish from Ryan. Rhys then copped a stick in the face, plenty of blood and five stitches. Luke redeemed himself with some fine saves and we ran out worthy winners. Well done everyone.
