2nd Team Vs Pershore

Old Wulfs 2nds travelled to Pershore with 11 men plus a sick Ash on the side so the team structure was set up to keep ourselves very stable and changes only needed should injury turn up!

1st half started with the traditional nervous 5 minutes the 2nd seem to do to themselves. Anyway some strong skilled opposition and some very strict umpires with tape measures we headed off into battle. Some close slip ups and poor passing and marking gave the opposition some energy to push on us, 2 goals game in from Birthday Boy George Jandu, and Richard Roberts both finding good space in the D the crash them home.

The new created award ‘Dick of the Day’ (Non positive prize = Baby Rabbit) had already been decided by half time and went to Ed Craddock for failing to understand the ‘keep your distance player’ and had 5 minutes resting from a yellow card!

2nd half started with Ash on and Stu off with a niggle injury and this should have been a keep the ball training session, but we struggled to maintain this with some poor running and passing. A strange decision out of the D from the Umpire awarded Pershore with a Short Corner which they converted into a goal = bad mood Old Wulfs Captain!! A few more strong attempts on goal and some balls running past the goal also we played out for the Win!!

A win is a win they say, and it was just that and not too much more!!

Watching Rob throw his stick ‘miles away’ while fetching his facemask for a defensive short and winding up the umpire.
