Match Report | A bare 11 Man team travelled to Willenhall Academy to play Wednesbury 2nds. With the team talk more focussed on try not to get injured and don't upset the umpire, Tall Alan We set our stall out and players were placed in positions best suited to have the younger legs (anybody under 39!) supporting the elder legs! Wednesbury got the goals going and this is how it went. 1-0 1-1 2-1 2-2 3-2 3-3 3-4 4-4 4-5 then we went down to ten men as Stuart Upton took a knock to the mouth and teeth. 9 minutes to go, hold steady lads!! Final Score Wednesbury 4 - Old Wulfs 5. Ngeatives - Short Corner Attacks failing completely giving 2 counter attacks and also 2 goals to Wednesbury! Only going to a big game with 11 men after not being allowed to ask for help! Losing a practice ball :-( Positives - Teamwork was spot on, great running and support. George, Ash and Tom working well together making chqances and passing spaces. Haydn and Richard managing Wednesbury's Player no 8 who turned up at half time to boost the midfield. Everbody played extreamly hard, kept heads and spirit up and supported well to get a win out of this which could of gone terribly wrong if injury had turned up earlier!! After a long vote the Positive Prize Rabbit and Man of the Match went to Tom Ward. Goals by George Jandu, Tom Ward, Rich Roberts and Ash Taylor (2).
