Match Report | A day of frustration at a ground with a history of bad results for Wulfs. It always takes me a couple of days after a defeat to write a match report; after a win they go on straight away. The problem is my powers of recall fade faster than a goldfish and my memory of the game has deteriorated to blur of nightmarish sorrow. Anyway we kind of started well, but conceded to a penalty stroke in the first half. I made a nice save off a drag-flick. Ah yes it's all coming back now. Well that was pretty much the highlight for me. Actually in the cold light of day we played pretty well in the first half, just couldn't convert our chances. The Bloxwich 'keeper escaped a yellow card when he charged out and kicked the ball outside the D. Wilson dragged one just over the bar. Darryl pushed the ball around nicely. Blah blah I'm just delaying telling you about the crappy second half. Too many mistakes in the second period and we were soon down 3-0. Ed Hole grabbed one back and it briefly looked like a comeback was on the cards. But Bloxwich sealed the game to match the result earlier in the season (except the other way round).
