Match Report | Wulfs returned to form with a straightforward demolition of Droitwich. After a bright start from the visitors Ablard and Litchfield took control of the midfield and goals soon followed. 3-0 at half time and it could have been more if it wasn't for a decent goalkeeping performance. Ward kept up his penalty corner scoring run with two, Ashworth also bagged a brace, and was constantly busy racing around to pick up and lay off the ball. Wilson scored his first for a while and Griffiths pinched one too. But most notable was a rare goal for Litchfield, who had already come so close with two good efforts before getting his just desserts. Nice also to be assigned league umpires for the first time this season, especially the delicious Jenny. Man of the match: Ashworth. |
