| Match Report | Wulfs Over 40s exited the cup with a strong performance and unfortunate result. Stratford took the lead thanks to a penalty corner undercut on the first shot into the net, inexplicably awarded as a goal by the Stratford umpire. Wulfs largely dominated the rest of the first half and pinned Stratford back to 1-1. Our guest Andy Stephens dominated midfield while Jandu and Fellows looked sharper than normal up front. But a sluggish start to the 2nd half resulted in a slip by Cooper and an easy goal, then a pen stroke to make it 3-2. Wulfs battled hard and began to dominate again - a series of close shaves prevented a comeback but eventually a scrambled goal gave us 2-3 and an exciting finish, however we didn't get what we deserved.
