An all round good perfromance resulting in a much needed win. The first half was open and even, Steve Rowlands making a number of good saves, matched by his drayton counterpart, who was aided twice by his post to deny george a goal. Eventually we scrambled in a goal Owen Shave getting the last touch. Ben Acton & Rhys Jones both made impressive first appearences, Eddie Thom pson was also in good form, with plenty of endeavour all around the pitch we put together our best passing performance of the year. Against the run of play in the second half Drayton equalised through an excellent individual goal by thier skipper.We pushed on and got two more deflected goals through Ryan & Eddie. the heavens then opened and the game was finished early, with us winning 3 1. |
