Another good performance against strong opposition, we battled hard and had an even share of possession, probably more shots, but found ourselves 2 1 down at halftime. We pressed hard at the start of the second half, but were unable to convert the chances created from numerous short corners. We faded in the last fifteen minutes, and stafford ran in three goals to give the final score a somewhat flattering look for them. Elliott missed the last fifteen minutes or so after picking up a cut eye from a head clash with George. So promising signs in the last two weeks, short corner practice required, and we should get some wins. |
