Match Report | Will Ashworth was chased up and down the line by a swarm of angry flies, while the rest of the team battled Tamworth to earn a half-time 0-0 scoreline. Both teams got into position for the second half, but where was the umpire? An impromptu toilet break resulted in a delay to the second half that clearly benefited the home side! At least it did the 'keeper as he made a series of excellent saves to deny Wulfs, whilst Tamworth punished Wulfs with 3 well taken goals. Humpherson touched home beautifully to get one back but the contact in the circle was so slight as to not be seen by the umpire. Matt Griffiths put in another tough shift, but it was Dave Ward who took the man of the match plaudits. |
