Match Report | A trip to the Dell is always awkward, and it became more so when an umpire failed to show up. The clock was ticking, especially for Litchfield who hoped to fly to Dublin after the game. Eventually we had two umpires, and Wulfs promptly conceded a scrappy goal against a much-changed Kingswinford side. It took no more than a minute for the Wulfs response as the passing began to work more efficiently. Wulfs never looked back, with the pick of the goals a precise hit by Dave Ward to find Ashworth deftly diverting the ball into the back post. K'ford provided the entertainment with various inter-team squabbles baffling the visitors, but in the end it was a comfortable win. Andy Peters took man of the match for the second week running, and Dave Cartwright was impressive on his return to the team. |
