| Match Report | Well this was our last game before the Christmas break and it was a tough away fixture against high-flying Bromsgrove. And we put up a great fight despite struggling against the Teutonic might of the Bromsgrove forward line. Old Wulfs created a number of chances in the first half, but the home side were the better finishers, going in 4-1 at half time. Heading for the half time team talk we overheard a Bromsgrove player saying "we should win this 10-0" It was all the motivation we needed to put in a performance so strong that we didn't let in 10! In fact after a mini-recovery to 6-4 there was a potential shock on the cards, achieved via an incredible reverse stick finish from man of the match Ablard. But we couldn't quite complete the comeback. Goals from Wilson, Cartwright, Ablard and.... Ashworth! Griffiths celebrated a great performance by writing off his car on the way home!
