Match Report | A tough game for us against some strong young players but it was competitive, hard fought and friendly game. On the pitch we were once again rather disjointed - Simon and Dave were pulled all over the pitch trying to make something happen but we left openings for Wolves to attack through the middle. Harry Wade made his debut, another young player to bring the average age down about 20 years. A fine shot from a young Wolverhampton player saw them take the lead, but it was level at half time thanks to the best move of the match. Dave Parnham slotted home after a passing move involving a number of our players - unfortunately I was a bit far away to see who they all were! Really we could have got a result out of this one but we gave away the ball too easily and allowed Wolves to attack. Their second though was a well-worked penalty corner. The less said about the thrid goal, the better. Hard work again by everyone involved - we just need to play more as a team. Man of Match - Billy Pearson |
