Match Report | Old Wulfs made the long trip to Oswestry to begin our campaign in NW7 with a full squad and lots of optimism... A blinding start to the game saw Old Wulfs steal possession from the Oswestry start, and within the first 30 seconds and a number of intricate passes, Sunny was able to slot home from close range. Oswestry took time to get going but eventually had a break, which resulted in a short corner, from where a very wayward shot looped about 15ft in the air off an Old wulfs stick before settling in at the far post to give yet another own goal. This pushed Wulfs on to the attach and after earning another short corner Wulfs took the lead through a drag flick from Angus Watson, who then scored his second of the game just before half time. As the game continued in to the second half, Old Wulfs maintained full control of the game with Oswestry trying to attack but being unable to break through. Pressure continued throughout the second half and as the half wore on, our efforts were rewarded with a couple of brilliant passing moves finished off by Archie Harris, giving a final score of 5 1, but possibly could have been more. Scorers: N Singh 1 A Watson 2 A Harris 2 MOTM Angus Watson
