Match Report | Bit of a damp squib of a finish to what has been a monumental season. With the exception of one highlight which was the return of the mighty James Archer after two years of whining about injuries. Sutton came with a squad including our form of kryptonite: youth. Their skilled youngsters ran rings around us until I discovered a solution in the second half: shove them to the ground! Sanjiv might have scored a couple when Dave Carver smashed great balls across the D, but instead he sprawled awkwardly and completely missed the ball. Jamie also could have had a glorious return when presented with a clear shot at goal, but it all went to his head and he swished ridiculously at thin air. Without the totemic Roger in defence we were left exposed on three occasions and unfortunately were well beaten on our last day. So a long hard season comes to its end. Thanks to everyone who played for the 5ths and see you at awards night! Man of the Match: I'm giving to myself for being such a bloody great captain this season lol.
