5th Team Vs Bournville 4

Fast talented young players are like kryptonite to the supermen of the 5th team so when Bournville turned up with a load of them we feared the worst. 

Main strength in the 5ths is our defense and we were able to repel all attacks and frustrate the opposition with the usual combination of Coopers, Harj, Ade and Dave.

Although Bournville had all the possession they couldn't create many chances, and when they did Dillworth was not in the mood to let them score.

Wulfs started to break out now and then with Dave Parnham in particular able to hold the ball up and try to get forward. 

Despite our best efforts Bournville winkled out a couple of scrappy goals and it seemed like the writing was on the wall. But as in so many of our games we were not going to bend over and take a spanking. Sanjiv doubled his tally for the season with a terrific finish to make it a nervous end to the game for the away side, but alas we weren't able to complete the comback.
