4th Team Vs Ludlow 2

A fine autumnal late morning in which no hockey took place. With Ludlow struggling with player numbers due to illnesses the game was called off some 48 hrs earlier. Despite the efforts by both teams to rearrange this fixture, the regulators correctly pointed out that games could not be rearranged as a result of a club being unable to field a team. While I understand the need to abide by the rules and in order to prevent possible fixture backlogs, it is disappointing that the game couldn't be rearranged. I will always do my utmost to encourage people to participate in the game of hockey and would much rather have preferred to play than have had to claim.
