| Match Report | We started slowly which was to be expected , due to the number of regular players missing from the team. However things settled and we put together some nice attacks, taking the lead as debutant Ahmed swept home a cross from Jandu , which was at the end of a nice series of midfield passes. Lewis was then unfortunately injured and had to leave to get stitches in a cut to his leg. Finches then equalised through a fluke deflection over Kevin. They then went ahead , as one of thier younger players squeezed a shot in off the far post. The second half started badly with Gary getting a 10 minute yellow, for his reaction to being kicked! Soon after Kram pulled up with a leg injury, but wulfs equalised , through an individual run and crashing finish from the top of the D , by Vish. We tried hard but failed to score any more , but finches scored another lucky goal which was the winner. In general the defence did very well , Vish and Ahmed both played well and are joint men of the match |
