On a lovely day to play hockey we started with the 12 players and with load of confidence behind us. 

We started with most of the possession and after about 25 minutes of constant pressure the first goal came after a beautiful cross from H.Flanaghan found J.Shakespeare who slotted into the bottom corner.  Cannock had a few good chances the most notable one came from a mistake from the defence but a brilliant keeping from K.Tonry kept them from scoring. 

The second half half started more evenly until J.Shakespeare dribbled past a couple of defenders and won a short corner which G.Sullivan slotted down the middle. The third goal came from a dubious short corner which fell to R.Roberts who slotted past the keeper. We won another short corner on the final whistle and brought everyone one forward except the keeper leaving him on his own but couldn’t manage to score. 

The man of the match was a close fought contest with 6 players getting a vote and the winner was I.Wall.
