it was definitely a game of two halves!!!
We started the game off strongly with most of the possession and we played most of the half in the opponents half. It wasn’t long before we scored after a well worked short corner was put past the keeper by Bruno Mustone. We kept the pressure on their defence with more short corners but we couldn’t score again. The second half was the complete opposite to the first Leek dominated the possession and had most of the chances. Our best chance in the second half fell to Shakespeare who narrowly missed after hitting from the edge of the d. Leek soon scored from a short corner levelling the game. Onwards and upwards to next week, see if we can get back to winning ways. Thanks for your efforts Man of the match was Bruno Mustone. |
