Match Report | Old Wulfs 3rds vs Streetly 3rds Old Wulfs 4-Streetly 0 Scorers Martin Jandu(3) Josh Shakespeare Before I do the report I would like to mention this is our first league win since March 2020. Well done team!, We started the game off strongly with some early possession which created some good chances. Our first goal came from some good work from Ian Wall who found Martin Jandu who finished off with a beautiful shot past the keeper. We continued to keep the pressure on Streetly with another goal not long after some Mo Farah like running Ian Wall AGAIN! Who made a beautiful cross and found Josh Shakespeare who precisely slotted the ball past the keeper. The second half started the same as the first with loads of possession and soon after ANOTHER assist from Ian Wall who found Martin Jandu for his second goal. Not long after Martin Jandu who scored his hat trick after Josh Shakespeare won the team a short corner.
Overall a excellent performance by the whole team. A special mention to Kevin Tonry who somehow managed to keep a clean sheet in the last 10 minutes of intense pressure. After a landslide of votes for this player the man of the match was a no brainier he even got the spectators vote. So the man of the match is the one and only Ian Wall. |
