A trip down the M54 saw us face telford 3s at there new pitch. The game started off like every game this season with wulfs dominating the game and looking very threatening on the front foot. As tradition would have it we conceded some quick fire goals and found ourselves 2-0 down. Captain Tom williams found the top corner after a great tackle from Sam Aldersley on the telford Centre back trying to be Ashley Jackson. We went into half time 3-1 down and started the second half just as wel as the first to then. Concede. 4-1. Gareth Minton pulled one back from the top of the D after a short corner but it wasn't enough. Wulfs pressed and pressed but just couldn't score another goal. Tom hit the post after a beautiful run and turning Ex old wulfs player Chris nighters and sending him another 5 yards from the ball and that was just the kick from the wulfs team today. Telford scored a 5th and it was game over. A game of some poor tackling. Some poor vocabulary which ended up seeing numerous cards handed out in the game. Captain Tom williams was pulled in the first half and told to control his team but took until twenty into the second half for the telford captain to be cautioned. A very tough game for both teams and umpires who all handled it very well. We move into next week where we play a revitalised Shrewsbury team who are top of the league.
