Having been comprehensively beaten 10 - 0 in the first meeting of the season with Stafford 4ths, the 5ths travelled for a late start determined not to be heavily beaten again - and so set up in a more defensive formation than their usual more constructive structure. It worked in that we only lost 3 - 0; and if VAR had been in use maybe the well worked short corner that produced Stafford's first goal would not have been given; and if we had been more decisive / confident in clearing the ball in a late scramble in our goalmouth Stafford would have not scored their third goal. A hard working and committed performance.
