5ths travelled to Keele University to play North Stafford 5ths - a team near the top of the division before the break. A couple of errors saw us down 0 - 2 quite quickly, and this became 0 - 3 before Barrie Sheldon touched in from a penalty corner to get us back into the game. The welcome return of Gary O'Sullivan after injury helped us to our best period of the game that included him bringing the score to 2 - 3 with a well taken goal in open play. We then fell foul of some further errors / failure to decisively clear our lines and the strong midfield of our opponents punished these, the game ending with a loss 2 - 7. And so on to table topping Stafford 4ths next week.......
