4th Team Vs Tamworth 3

After a long wait I have finally pressed the 'win' tab on the website! 
OW welcomed Tamworth 3rds looking to avenge the first game of the season where we conceded 9, with the club president having to play in goal....

14 players were present - the team talk consisted of the skipper asking for discipline, fight and pride

The team responded with a dominant first half performance, pressing Tamworth in their own half, working space, but lacking a finish....eventually Josh Harris rolled a reverse stick finish past a wrong footed goalkeeper following good work by Sam.

The 2nd half saw more OW dominance, but a lack of goals produced. Late in the 2nd half OW conceded a short corner ( Tamworth's only short) and alarm bells rang - however the injection was poor and the skipper hunted down the loose ball...after that OW saw out a precious victory.

A fine, all round performance, and a deserved victory...at last!
