4th Team Vs Finchfield 4

Another atrocious day (weather wise) saw OW take on Finches 4ths in a local derby. Finches sat 3rd in the table and the 4ths had suffered heavy defeats to the teams first and second in the two previous weeks - so another torrid afternoon was on the cards. However a fine first half performance saw OW match Finchfield in all areas of the park and were unlucky to go in at half time 1 down.

The 2nd half saw the younger legs of Finchfield start to dominate but OW held firm and created several chances to equalise. However, these came to nothing and 0-1 was the final outcome. 

As outlined by the 2nd team captain this league is also split into two halves - the next 3 weeks will see the 4ths play those teams who are hovering around the same points tally. On this showing confidence should be high in attempting to gain some valuable points.
