A miserable morning at WGS and a miserable time for the 4ths who were beaten by the better team. There was no lack of effort shown but Newport possessed more in all departments. OW suffered from failing to retain shape and were constantly overloaded. This was not helped by the skipper taking a crack on the knee, followed by a blow to the head which meant he could not continue and Doc having to come off with a bad back! On the plus side youngsters Haris, Wall T and Callaway continue to develop and grow in confidence, also Dill had a great game in goal making numerous saves. Not a day for the purists!
