Match Report | The game started in scrappy fashion , maybe because everyone was on thier best behaviour. Old wulfrunians were unlucky not to take the lead , when James Dunn s shot struck a defenders foot and went into the goal , unfortunately the umpire blew for a short corner as the ball hit the defenders foot. Both teams had half chances , leek just about deserved thier one nil halftime lead. Wulfs woke up in the 2nd half , equalizing when for the first time this year , the injector remembered to run in for the scraps, Paul neatly volleyed in as jandu's shot rebounded off the keepers pads . James went close to putting us ahead, with a first time sweep shot, drawing an excellent save from the leek keeper. The leek keeper also did well to make a save with his glove, from a Jandu shot that was going into roof of the net. Dave Cartwright released Jandu, who beat the last defender , and struck the ball high into the goal , above the prone keeper. Dan Taylor danced through the defence , faced with the keeper , he tried to switch the ball to Jandu ,but the leek keeper who got a toe on the ball , to send the ball behind Jandu, who swivelled around and smashed the ball high into the goal in one motion. 3 1 we then relaxed and leek got the score back to 3 2 , a tense and grumpy last ten minutes followed, but we held on for a pleasing win
