| Match Report | Good open game , which both sides will feel they could have won , Jake had another strong game , Paul had his best game so far with nice skill , and calm finishing, netting our two goals. Defensively, we had a mixed day , nice tackles but regularly giving the ball straight back . We went one up through great work by Jake ,releasing Paul to finish one on one against thier keeper. We immediately conceded the equaliser, and soon went two one down . The second half was balanced , both sides creating plenty of chances, and both keepers, with the assistance of some last ditch defending , kept everything out until 10 mins to go , and Paul slotted in the equaliser. We had a short corner as the final whistle blew, so all came up, we kept the ball in the D which fell to coxy , by the right hand side of the D , with all the composure of a defender , he took a wild reverse stick swing , and cleared the ball . 2 2 final score . |
