Match Report |
This week Old Wulfs played a very strong and skilled Leek side. The game started off and both teams were having even amounts of possession with Justin and Ian controlling midfield. After a short period of time Leek broke and scored the 1st goal of the game after Luke had saved the original shot but not parried the ball, giving leek the chance to slot away an easy goal. Sam, George and Kai were doing some great passes to stop leek receiving the ball and going onto score. The teams went in at half time with Leek leading one goal to nil. The second half began and many would agree with me that it was extremely poor play by Old Wulfs badgers. Leek fired their second goal of the game (after a tremendous hit from close range). Sundeep carried on taking shots at goal but all pushed away by the Leek defence. Old Wulfs had several short corners but couldn't put away. Leek were gradually getting more and more stronger as the game went on. Well done to Luke for doing many outstanding saves once again and Well done to the Kieran, Mike, James and Callum for some amazing defending to stop Leek going even further ahead. The game ended 2-0 to Leek. Man of the Match: Kieran Patel. Just to let everyone know the Badgers haven't secured a single victory out of the 15 games they've played and have a total of 6 games left to at least try and secure 1 victory! |
