Badgers Vs Lichfield C

A unlucky loss against a strong/skilled Lichfield 'C' team.

The game started and Lichfield were dominating midfield however most of the time intercepted by Ian, George and Chris.

Old Wulfs had a couple of good runs made by Sundeep and Kai but couldn't find the back of the net.

In the following twenty minutes the game stayed even with both teams having the same amount of possession.

In the closing stages of 1st half Lichfield scored the first and only goal of the game. After three outstanding saves made by Luke the ball bounced of his pad and fell to a Lichfield attacker to slot in to the make the score 1-0 to Lichfield at half time.

The second half carried on much like the first with both teams having breakaways.

Lichfield conceded a short corner.

Where we took the advantage with a firing shot from Kieran ending in the back of the net but disallowed for his first hit being too dangerous.

Callum and Jack were attempting to push through the Lichfield defence but couldn't .

Last 5 minutes Lichfield had their last shot of the game but saved by Luke and parried away by the Old Wulfs defence.

Another great effort from all the lads playing against a very strong Lichfield 'C' team.
