4th Team Vs Market Drayton 3

The season ended for the 4ths in glorious hockey conditions, away to Market Drayton 3rds at Keele University.

A familiar result, unfortunately, was recorded but this match was an even affair with the teams evenly matched. If anything OW were the better team, but the old failings of failing to convert chances, or find the final pass were evident. However it was good to play in a match in which we were competitive in all areas of the pitch.

Horton returned from injury, there were 3 Walls on the pitch, we had several short corners, they scored from their only one, with the aid of an OW stick.

Thank you to all who have contributed to the 4ths efforts this season. It hasn't been easy but despite the tough nature of the matches the 4ths have shown remarkable resilience and a superb team spirit.
