4th Team Vs Sutton Coldfield 6

After what seems a lifetime the records finally show that the 4th team did not lose!

At a chilly WGS OW took on Sutton 6ths. The visitors played with a kicking back, which,although allowing goal scoring opportunities, allows the opposition an extra player outfield.

OW started brightly with Mann linking well with Farmer, Anderson and Sankey to open up space, and eventually OW managed to evade the blanket defence with Fisher finishing, however Sutton equalised after utilising their extra player and getting behind the defence. 1-1 at halftime.

The 2nd half followed a similar pattern, OW playing direct hockey, but getting overloaded on the break. Sutton fashioned several short corners but the defence held on. 

Both teams could claim that they deserved to win, but a draw was the fair result. Special mention for Harj who was outstanding all game.
