Match Report |
This rearranged game was played on a Sunday at the Royal. Ablard stepped in again for absent skipper Griffiths and Justin Thorpe continued his return to the first team fold.
From the beginning Old Wulfs dominated possession, finding gaps in the Kidderminster defence to create numerous chances. Thanks to precise finishing it was soon 3-0 thanks to a brace from Ashworth and a cheeky one from Shave. It was looking like a rout until Wulfs began to relax a little and were hit on the break for a weak goal back.
Ashworth sealed a hat trick to make things comfortable by half time.
Wulfs continued to control things in the second half, restricting the away side to zero goal scoring opportunities, but failing to extend the lead.
4-1 was a fair result, and pushes Wulfs to a mid table position. |
