| Match Report | An eventful game to say the least. Wulfs were 3-0 up after 10 minutes and it looked like Whitchurch were due for another spanking after being beaten 14-0 earlier in the season. But the home side never looked truly in control despite the flying start. Before the half it was 3-2 thanks to some comedy defending by Wulfs, but a 4th goal gave them the cushion once again. The second half was an example of how not to defend a lead as the visitors carved a series of opportunities. The equaliser came from a long aerial that found a free attacker who rounded the goalie to put into an empty net. It could have been worse for Wulfs, but a point at least keeps the bottom sides at bay. |
