Masters Over 40's Vs Solihull Blossomfield

Wulfs travelled to Solihull for the latest o40 knockout match. 

From the start Wulfs took control of the game and threatened to score, with Ablard and Stephens working hard to create opportunities, and thought they'd taken the lead when an intricate passing move ended in a close range finish, but the umpire disallowed it for a push.

instead it was Solihull who took the lead after a well taken penalty corner hit Hemmings' foot on the line and the resulting strike was dispatched.

wulfs equalised in the second half after a goal mouth scramble ended with a finish from Ablard.

despite a hatful of chances Wulfs could score another, and Solihull won another stroke to seal the win when Hemmings kicked another one off the line! This time Pearson saved to send it to a penalty shoot out.

both keepers made save after save but thanks to Zorof Khan and and Kram with the winner Wulfs made it through 2-1.
