Match Report | A disappointing crash to reality for OWHC with an error strewn display across the pitch. For the early part, OWHC were under pressure but still had outlets going forward which lead to a short corner. Shave managed to dart around the defenders before winning a penalty flick which he duly dispatched. The remainer of the half featured OWHC under pressure and the pressure told as Stafford equalised and then took a two goal lead before the end of the half. HT- OWHC 1-3 Stafford A half time rejig of the formation appeared to pay immediate dividends. Archie (a debutant) had opened up some space on the right following a run, Shave spotted this and played him in to accurately finish. However the majority of the second half saw Stafford's quality unfold. OWHC didn't help themselves but once Stafford had sussed the change of play from OWHC, they ran in several goals to finish the game strongly 7-2. FT- OWHC 2-7 Stafford Thankfully Will Ashworth managed to turn up at the pub after missing the game cause he couldn't access his car in time to hear that Colin had been awarded MOTM |
