Match Report | The first game of the season was preceded by heavy rain and then followed by an even heavier downpour. In between to the surprise of everyone glorious sunshine. The third team took on an experienced West Brom side. Possession was even in the first half but the visitors were more clinical and took a two goal lead. Old Wulfs pulled one back before half time thanks to a Pearson tap in from his original shot hitting the post. In the second half persistence paid off and Jandu's deflected effort brought parity in the scoreline. Unfortunately this appeared to inspire the visitors who went goal crazy adding six second half goals. The only reply was a well taken Jandu shot. First game of the season down, a useful exercise for our boys before the league begins. The Stand-in Umpire |
