5ths took on Stone 4ths at WGS on what was at the start a cold but sunny day. Buoyed by the fact that we had our 11 and Stone only had 10 at the start, we set about trying to move the ball around and take advantage of our numeric advantage. We duly got to half time 4 - 0 up and growing in confidence. Stone's 11th player arrived for the second half, and although this made our progress a bit more difficult, we scored another 2 goals to finish the game 6 - 0 winners. Goals came from James Fisher (2), Martin Jandu (2 - despite a back injury), and one each for Alex Sankey and Ian Wall (his first of the season). Glyn Thomas was pleased to keep a clean sheet. Dheeraj and Ben each gave another good performance and Alex grew in confidence as the game progressed. This week we finished a much higher proportion of the chances we created.
