5ths were at a disadvantage from the start with only 10 of the 11 selected players making it to the game. Finchfield took an early lead when they made their extra man count in open play. Their second came from a short corner where Dan made a good save from the initial shot, only for the rebound to fall to the injector for a simple tap in. 5ths enjoyed a lot of possession, with Ian and James getting through a lot of work to compensate for being a player short. Both Ben and Dheeraj got forward to good effect, and Paul created passing opportunities with effective movement off the ball. Unfortunately Finchfield made their extra player count again later in the game to score a third. In summary we worked hard with 10 players, had a lot of possession and created more scoring opportunities than Finchfield but ended up losing 0 - 3.
