Match Report | On a cold winters days what more exciting prospect is there than a 4:30 start at Bridgnorth. However the omens weren't great when the snow started early in the afternoon. The midday game at Bridgnorth was abandoned and the following game called off. The weather then turned again and the snow turned to rain, game on. Wulfs fielded 6 changes from last week's victory against Bridgnorth 5ths, The 6ths are a completely different proposition and riding high in the league. Wulfs brought an experienced line-up with an age span of sixty or so years, North had a much more youthful line up. North started strongly and completely bossed the first half and by half time amassed a 4 goal lead, with Wulfs struggling to threaten. The second half brought a much more positive performance from the Wulfs, the defence contained the opposition and offensively tenacious work from Ward and Anderson allowed a number of short corners to be won. From one these Mann drag flicked just over the bar. At the death North broke again and scored their fifth. A convincing defeat, but a much improved 2nd half performance. A special thank you to all those who made themselves available in less than ideal circumstances.
