1st Team Vs Wednesbury

This game was hugely overshadowed by the tragic death of Wednesbury 1st team player Alexander Lees. In a blizzard and biting wind both teams observed 2 minutes silence before braving the elements to fulfill the league fixture.

There's very little to report from the game; Wulfs came close to a goal when Ablard threaded a pass through onto a great run from Nightingale who's square pass just eluded the onrushing Griffiths.

At half-time the umpires decided enough was enough - players and umpires alike were finding it hard to see with horizontal snow whipping across the pitch, and captains agreed to share the points with a 0-0 draw.
