| Match Report | Old Wulfunians U13 s had a friendly game V Streetley. The game was played in three twenty minute sections. Old Wulfs started brightly creating many attacking opportunities , however on numerous occasions we took too long to shoot , eventually Harry Rowley put us 1 up with a nice finish from the top of the D. The second section of the game was much the same and Joseph Mellis put us two up with a nice individual run and strike. However Streetley fought back and scored from their first shot on goal. The final segment of the game saw streetley equalise following a defensive mix up. Old Wulfunians rallied and scored the winner just before the last whistle , Jack Lovegrove stealing with a bouncing ball to finish calmly. Well done to all the boys who put in a great effort, we now know what to work on in training. Thanks to Streetley for providing a balanced match. Joeseph and Harry and Daniel Taylor were joint men of the match. |
