Old Wolves turned out 13 players against Wolverhampton. We had a shaky start conceding 3 goals in quick concession in the first quarter. The pressure was on all the lads to stop the ongoing pressure. The 2nd quarter saw a turn around with all playing better and being aware of the oppositions players and their positions. We survived to the 2nd half with no further goals. With the extra players as subs we were able to swap players and positions to mix things up.
The 3rd quarter saw an extra surge and we had more possession in the opponents half with a chance on goal. Wolverhampton kept the pressure on and our lads did really well defending and pushing back in midfield.
Things got a bit hairy in the 4th quarter with us nearly conceding another goal. Dan did a great job in goal and got the defenders working well.
The final score was 3-0 to Wolverhampton.
Well done to all the lads who played hard in the rain and didn't complain.
