Match Report | Due to the large amount of blank fixtures this season we're very fortunate to have had friendly games arranged for us. Wulfs came away comfortable winners with a 3-0 margin however, it should and certainly could have been more. Wulfs started well and immediate pressure resulted in early chances, culminating in a skillful run from Ryan, who easily navigated two defenders before slotting past the keeper. Injuries to Ed and Rob during the game tested Wulfs resolve, effectively playing with 9 for the last quarter of the game. Aside from this though, wulfs never really got out of second gear in this game and perhaps that's a missed opportunity to see what we can really do, however this game practice was far more beneficial than a weekend spent on the sofa watching football. Next week is a top of the table clash away to Redditch, a game where second gear definitely won't cut it, but we know that. |
